DECEMBER’S episode of Around the Dog World (ATDW) features two events from the past few months – South Wales and the Eukanuba Champion Stakes. The latest programme will be broadcast on Thursday at 8pm on Horse & County TV (Sky 253) and will be repeated throughout the month.
Watch highlights of South Wales best in show where the seven biggest winners from the weekend in the Royal Welsh Showground are examined by Bill Browne-Cole in the main ring. This is followed by extended highlights and interviews from the Eukanuba Champion Stakes where 29 of the UK’s top champion dogs go under the scrutiny of two secret judges.
The winner of the UK final will go on to represent the country at the Eukanuba World Challenge, this year held alongside the Amsterdam Winner Show (December 13).
Analysis of all the action in Wales and Warwickshire, plus a look back at any BIS winners the ATDW cameras have missed since the last episode, comes from Andrew Brace, and the programme is presented by Marina Scott.
The next Around the Dog World will be a utility special filmed at the British Utility Breeds Association show this weekend where the cameras will get to grips with a handful of breeds in the group ranging from French Bulldogs to Standard Poodles.
