The Center on Global Energy Policy hosted a presentation and discussion with Adam Sieminski, Administrator of the U.S. Energy Information Administration, of EIA's Annual Energy Outlook (AEO) 2015. The AEO 2015 presents long-term projections of U.S. energy supply, demand, and prices through 2040. EIAs Reference case, which assumes current laws and regulations remain unchanged, provides the basis for examination and discussion of alternative price, economic, and resource scenarios - and often serves as a starting point for analysis of potential changes in energy policies.
After the presentation Center Founding Director Jason Bordoff moderated a discussion.
